Hi — we're PEWYCO ("we", "us", this website). This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you visit or buy, and what we do with it. Short version: as little as possible, used only to run the store and get your order to your door.
1. What we collect
- Email address — only if you voluntarily give it (newsletter popup or contacting us). Used for the discount code, order updates, and occasional pet-parent tips. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Order information — when you buy: your name, email, shipping address, and the items purchased. This is required to deliver your order.
- Local browser storage — your cart, wishlist, and popup preferences are saved on your own device (localStorage). They never leave your browser except cart contents at checkout.
- Standard technical logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps basic request logs (IP address, browser type) for security and performance, like most websites.
2. Payments & card data
All payments are processed by Stripe on their secure, PCI-certified checkout page. We never see, receive, or store your credit card number. Your card details exist only inside Stripe.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. Ever. We share only what's needed:
- Stripe — payment processing (see stripe.com/privacy)
- Our fulfillment partners — your name and shipping address, solely to ship your order
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
Legal requests excepted, we hand over nothing without a court order.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Our only storage is the functional, on-device kind described above. Your browsing here isn't followed around the internet.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email us and we'll handle it within 30 days — usually much faster. If you're in the EU/EEA or California, this reflects your rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
6. Kids
PEWYCO is for adult pet parents. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
